RKB Community Garage Sale
Combine your summer cleaning with saving the planet, promoting upcycling, and supporting our studio community. Exchange used items for studio credits to spend at the sale, or donate to support our community. Plus, take advantage of our upcycling stations to turn pre-loved items into something better.
Schedule:
- Saturday, July 11 — 9 AM to 4 PM
- Sunday, July 12 — 9 AM to 3 PM
What to expect:
- Reserve your priority-access shopping hour or drop by (may need to wait)
- 10 people allowed at a time (60 minutes per visit if there's a line)
- Shop pre-loved goods with cash/card or studio credits
- Upcycle items using our craft materials and stations
- Raffles for prizes
Pricing: Your entrance fee includes a tote bag for our Fill-A-Tote station. Pay online when booking or with cash/card onsite.
Studio credits: Earn up to $25 CAD per person by donating in-kind items before the event. $5 credits per donation lot, max $25.
Donations drop-off: Jun 5 to Jul 5, 2026 at the studio. Reserve a time in advance or visit during weekend open studio hours.
Suggested donation items: craft and art supplies, stationery, scrapbooking materials, clothes, bags, accessories, kitchenware, books, CDs, tech equipment, puzzles, board games — anything cleanly used and ready for a new home.
Other ways to support: cash or in-kind donations, volunteering (2-hour to full-day shifts; volunteer hours provided for high-school students), or helping spread the word on social media.

Care & maintenance
Each piece is made to last with a little tending. Trim wicks to a quarter inch before lighting, burn in stretches of two to four hours, and store on a flat surface away from direct sun. Care notes for non-candle items are tucked into the product description above — if anything is unclear, write to us and we’ll walk you through it.
Shipping & returns
We ship from our Toronto studio within three business days. Local Toronto pickup is available at 3317 Yonge St, Unit 4 — choose “Pickup” at checkout. If something arrives and isn’t quite right, write to us within fourteen days and we’ll make it right.
