Maker's Week — Make Together (Drop-In Sessions)
Come create with us. As our founder Angie prepares her handmade candles, soaps, and stationery for the Toronto Korean Festival, she'd love to be surrounded by a community of makers. Whether you're a crafter, writer, or maker of any kind, drop in, pick your favourite spot, and create alongside other creatives.
Bring your own project. Settle in for as long as you like within your booked session. Enjoy unlimited self-serve coffee, tea, and snacks, and connect with fellow makers — or take quiet time for your own creativity.
Sessions (2–5 PM): Monday Aug 10 · Wednesday Aug 12 · Friday Aug 14 (cancelled)
Up to 10 makers per session. Bring your own crafting or making activities.
How it works — a gentle pomodoro rhythm. We move together in cycles of 45 minutes of focused creating followed by a 15-minute break each hour. One room is our minor-noise space (keyboards, quiet tools welcome); the other is a quiet gallery for deep focus. Please arrive at the start or during a break (first 15 minutes of each hour) to keep the space calm for everyone. Stay for an optional wind-down with Angie from 5:00–5:30 PM.
Pricing. $30 per maker per session. Bringing a friend? Choose the Duo option and your friend joins for 50% off ($45 for two). Members: use your event code for 25% off. HST added at checkout.
After you book: you'll be asked to fill out a short setup-preferences form (seating, plugs, table space). If you need room for tools or a larger set-up, please email hello@rekindleandbloom.ca by Friday, Aug 8.
Consider bringing a small donation for the studio during your visit. All participants agree to the Maker's Week participant agreement at booking.
Care & maintenance
Each piece is made to last with a little tending. Trim wicks to a quarter inch before lighting, burn in stretches of two to four hours, and store on a flat surface away from direct sun. Care notes for non-candle items are tucked into the product description above — if anything is unclear, write to us and we’ll walk you through it.
Shipping & returns
We ship from our Toronto studio within three business days. Local Toronto pickup is available at 3317 Yonge St, Unit 4 — choose “Pickup” at checkout. If something arrives and isn’t quite right, write to us within fourteen days and we’ll make it right.
